Mary Clark, Media Relations spokesperson for United Airlines, made a statement to Fox 8 about the changes to be made in 2015.

“United will end nonstop service between Cleveland and Dallas, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa because the flights are not meeting expectations. The Dallas service will end effective March 5, 2015, and the Florida flights will end effective April 7, 2015. We will contact customers ticketed on the affected flights to offer re-accommodation on other flights or refunds.”
In regards to jobs, Clark added that cuts are to be suspected, but the specific number won’t be known until after the end of the year.
