DES MOINES, Iowa – Marvin Tramaine Hill II, 21, apparently wasn’t ‘Lovin’ it’ when he assaulted his wife with a McDonald’s McChicken sandwich on Tuesday.

The Des Moines Register reports, Hill was arrested for simple domestic assault and taken to the Polk County Jail, as reported by the Des Moines Register.

According to the police report, Hill told police he threw the sandwich as his wife “because he didn’t like them” and that his wife had actually assaulted him, according to the Des Moines Register

Hill told police his wife woke him around 1 p.m. with the sandwich in hand. He told police he became upset, resulting in him throwing  the sandwich at his wife. The sandwich fell apart, and Hill then threw the bun at her again.

Hill followed his wife into the bathroom, where she went to clean herself up. Hill began recording her with his cell phone and his wife knocked the phone out of his hand, according to the video shown to police.

Mayonnaise was found on the woman’s shirt and face when police arrived, and according to her, Hill had smashed the bun into her face.

The woman’s nose was swollen according to police, and Hill was trying to entice her into knocking his phone away, according to the police report.

Hill remains in the Polk County Jail.
