CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Leanna Krause always said she wanted an engagement proposal she would remember.

And now she knows her new fiance, Ryan Mulloy, really listens to her. On Saturday, Leanna and Ryan attended a Christmas performance at Tower City.

Leanna didn't know that Ryan and the performers had conspired to make her the star of the show.

A toy soldier just happened to ask Leanna to dance with him. And wouldn't you know it, Ryan was soon dancing as well.

As the two were brought together, the music stopped, and the crowd fell silent.

That is, until Ryan got down on bended knee, and produced a ring. Then screams erupted all around, as Ryan proposed and Leanna accepted.

"It was surreal," she said. "I still can't believe it."

Ryan says the words didn't flow as he had hoped.

"I had it all written down," he said, "but it didn't come out like I wanted it at all."

But Leanna thought it came out just right.

"Best proposal ever," she said.
