CLEVELAND - Probate Judge Anthony Russo approved settlement agreements for the estate of two people killed in the November 2012 police chase and shooting.

The settlements stem from a federal lawsuit filed by the families of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams. Both families received $1.5 million.

Attorney fees will be taken out of the settlement.

Russell and Williams were killed after the deadly chase that started the Justice Center after an officer thought someone in the suspects car fired a shot at him.

The chase ended in East Cleveland when 13 Cleveland police officers fired 137 shots killing the two unarmed suspects.
