Johnny Depp is causing a lot of buzz on the internet after an interesting speech Friday night.

At the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards, the actor presented the documentary award for Mike Myers’ “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon,” according to FOX News.

When Depp first took to the stage, he complained about a mic issue.  He said “That’s the weirdest microphone I’ve ever seen in my life.”

The 51-year-old actor then proceeded to use several curse words that had to be censored.

Viewers immediately took to Twitter after watching the speech. They compared his behavior to that of his character Jack Sparrow in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film series.

Depp went on with his speech to honor Gordon by saying “For decades, Shep Gordon has been one of the most beloved and respected talent managers in the music industry, he is also the current star and subject of the documentary Supermensch…because he is a mensch.”

He ended the speech by saying “I’ve been very, very lucky to have him in my life. He is someone I consider a great friend, an incredibly loyal friend…so you have to watch the film! Yeah, there you go. What does that say?”

After another blanked out curse word, he closed by saying “It’s one of those nights.”
