RTA: Bus driver threatened with knife

CLEVELAND — A man was arrested overnight, after he reportedly threatened an RTA bus driver with a knife.

According to an RTA spokeswoman, the driver was stopped just after midnight on Ontario and South Roadway. The driver was giving someone directions when the suspect started yelling and allegedly threatened the driver with a knife.

RTA officials say Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were in the area and the driver was able to flag the troopers down.

The suspect was arrested.

No one was injured in the incident.
