Brooklyn Heights Police looking for missing dog after car theft

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Ohio – Police are looking for a missing dog following a car theft.

According to Brooklyn Heights Police, a 2011 Nissan pickup truck was stolen from a business on Granger Road on Friday. The owner’s dog, named Hooch, was inside the truck at the time of the theft.

The truck was found a short time later, but Hooch wasn’t inside.

9-year-old Hooch was wearing a choker collar when he disappeared.

Surveillance video captured a person of interest in the case. The man was seen using a credit card from the stolen truck at a Speedway gas station on Brookpark Road. He is described as 5’8″ about 150 pounds. He appears to be in his mid 20’s with some light facial hair.
