Teen on her phone helps save kidnapped baby

WASHINGTON- A 15-year-old Washington girl who got a text alert about a kidnapped infant helped in the baby’s rescue.

According to KOMO, Camyrn Wood and her dad were driving when her phone buzzed with the Amber Alert message.

The alert included a description of the vehicle. When she looked up- she saw the exact car police were looking for. Within 60 seconds, she was calling police to tell them.

ABC News reports the two followed the car while Camryn called 911. Police arrived minutes later, stopped the car and arrested the driver, who was the baby’s mom. She did not have custody of the child.

The infant was not hurt.
