Friday Night Touchdown Commissioner Dan Coughlin put on his best costume and began his night in Avon where the Eagles beat the Bay Rockets 24-6. The Eagles were led by quarterback Jake Sopko who threw two touchdown passes within four minutes to tight end Chris Maxwell in the fourth quarter. Avon ends their regular season with on a five-game win streak. Both teams are playoff bound.

He then hopped over to Rocky River where the Pirates took care of the Elyria Catholic Panthers 49-21. The Pirates were up 35-7 at the half and never looked back.
The Pirates were led by quarterback Matt Lowry who passed for five touchdowns and ran for another. He finished the game with 166 yards on the ground. Pat Conners also had a huge night as he finished with three touchdowns, setting a school record with 103 catches.
