Halloween is here! Besides the costumes — and tricks — treats are one of the best parts of the holiday for many kids.

Especially when it comes to chocolate.

Last year, $12.6 billion was spent on chocolate in the U.S., according to 10News. Among the favorites during trick-or treating?

1.) Reese’s
2.) M&M’s
3.) Snickers
4.) Hershey’s
5.) Kit Kat

There’s even a new app to help kids find the sweet stuff.

It’s called ‘Treat Map,’ and it points users to the best neighborhoods to visit on Halloween.

Anyone who uses the app can indicate whether they will give out candy or even if they plan to set up a haunted house. The app then maps out all the locations so kids and their parents can choose where to go.

But that’s if they want candy.

For some kids — that’s not enough these days. According to Voucherscloud.net, more than half of parents say their kids want cash over candy.

Their study involved 1,747 parents of kids between the ages of 4 and 10.
