You have heard of B-Y-O-B, but what about B-Y-O-D?

The number of people bringing their own devices to work is 40 percent of enterprise employees, according to the latest statistics by Gartner.

According to a recent survey by the research firm, two-fifths of all U.S. consumers who work for large enterprises use their own smartphone, tablet, or desktop for some kind of work.

More than 4,000 people were questioned for the survey which revealed BYOD users are more likely to use their desktops than any other device.

40 percent bring their own smartphones, 36 percent bring their own laptops, and 26 percent use their tablets.
