Local company recalls bottled water products due to possible E. coli contamination

AMHERST, Ohio — An Amherst company has recalled spring water and bottled water products it sold between July 14, 2014, and July 29, 2014, due to possible E. coli contamination.

According to a release from the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Cherry Knoll has recalled spring water that was sold at the company’s self-serve vending area along with one, three and five gallon bottles of water with bottle codes 072114 or 072814.

Codes can be found on the caps of the products.

There have been no reports of illness due to the consumption of the products.

Anyone concerned about illness is asked to call their local health care professional. Customers are also encouraged to return any product in question to Cherry Knoll, 8470 Leavitt Road, in Amherst. They can also call Damon Abraham at 440-986-2197.
