CLEVELAND -- Sunday's victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers was more than just an ego boost.

Former Browns running back Greg Pruitt called it a critical win.

He gave his take during Monday Morning Running Back on Fox 8 News in the Morning.

"It was critical because that was a division opponent.  We had to win a game in the division, now we’re back in the playoff race," Pruitt said.

The Browns came out on top after the contest at FirstEnergy Stadium Sunday.  The score was 31-10.

And though there weren't many big numbers, Pruitt said the small ones mattered more.

Few turnovers and few penalties helped the Browns succeed.

Pruitt said the young team is still learning how to win, but he's optimistic.
