COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 19-year-old Akron man accused of selling a deadly dose of heroin was arrested Friday on charges of involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, and trafficking in drugs.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office identified Anton Pickett as the man who sold the drugs that contributed to and/or caused the death of Tyler Bornstein, 23, of Green.

A resident found Bornstein’s body in a vacant lot on Alfred Road off of Arlington Road in Coventry Township on Sept. 28.

Drug paraphernalia was found near the body, and the cause of death was a heroin overdose.

Investigators also determined Bornstein did not die at the location his body was discovered.

A 23-year-old who was with Bornstein at the time of his death was charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.  The Summit County Sheriff’s office declined to release that man’s name.

Pickett was booked into the Summit County Jail.
