Jenna and Dan Haley, who completed a bucket list for their sick unborn son, welcomed their beloved baby boy early Thursday morning.

On the family’s ‘Prayers for Shane‘ Facebook page, they announced Jenna was in labor after the doctor broke her water. They thanked everyone for all their prayers and support. Then, several hours later, they said, ‘Baby Shane is here!’

Jenna was just 13 weeks pregnant when doctors told her that her son had anencephaly, which is a terminal brain defect. The life expectancy of babies with the condition ranges from hours to days.

Jenna and her husband, Dan, made headlines when they decided to put together a bucket list, taking Shane on lots of adventures and to some of their favorite childhood places while he was still growing inside his mother.
