$250K bond issued for suspect in Katz Club Diner arson

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio –A $250,000 bond has been set for James Warholak, the man arrested in Tuesday morning’s arson at Katz Club Diner.

Warholak faces a charge of aggravated arson in the fire. He pleaded not guilty and waived a preliminary hearing in Cleveland Heights Municipal Court Wednesday.

The owner of the Lee Road diner, Doug Katz, was alerted to the fire at roughly 4:15 a.m. Tuesday. He’d owned the diner for about a year and a half.
