AKRON, Ohio -- A employee accused of using his cell phone to spy on women in the restroom of a country club appeared in court Wednesday morning.

Curtis L. Von Tacky, 32, of Akron, pleaded not guilty in Akron Municipal Court to voyeurism and tampering with evidence charges.

Von Tacky is accused of placing a cell phone in a stall in the women's bathroom at Portage Country Club on Sept. 28. A 28-year-old woman noticed the phone propped on the back of the toilet.

An investigation began the next day, and Von Tacky was later arrested.

He has since been dismissed from his job.

Von Tacky was arrested this past May after a group of women accused him of spying on them, but he was never convicted.
