SUMMIT COUNTY-Facebook posts end in an emotional reunion between a local woman and her father's remains.

A key-chain vial with a small picture of an elderly man was found in the Sand Run Metro Park in Summit County back on September 22.

The vial, which contained the remains of Sandy Brown's father, was found along a jogging trail by a park visitor. The visitor turned it in to park officials.

Officials took to Facebook and posted information about the vial on the Summit Metro Parks Facebook page.

After two posts on Facebook, Sandy Brown came forward and claimed the items earlier today.

Sandy told FOX 8 her father loved the outdoors. So much so, she spread his ashes in a number of locations including The Portage Lakes and the Ohio and Erie Canal.
