A mother in California learned she had bone cancer when she was just 10 weeks pregnant.
According to KCAL, doctors told Ashley Bridges that she needed to begin chemotherapy right away, but that would mean terminating her pregnancy.
Bridges said, “There’s no way I could kill a healthy baby because I’m sick.”
She delivered a healthy baby girl, Paisley, but even with several rounds of chemotherapy, she’s been given less than a year to live.
Bridges says she has no regrets. Her family considers her a ‘superhero.’
