Crowds packed Vermilion for a beloved Northeast Ohio tradition, and Fox 8 News was thrilled to once again be a part of it!

Your favorite anchors, reporters and meteorologists joined Dick Goddard at the Woollybear to meet fans and sign autographs.

The woollybear is said to predict the winter forecast by the coloring of his fur.

But is the legend true?  There's only one man who would know for sure.

"The woollybear is always right ... it's the weather that's wrong!" Dick Goddard said.
