SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Four juveniles were arrested after an officer spotted 30 people fighting on the sidewalk in front of a cafe Thursday.

It happened at just after 3 p.m. Thursday in front of South Euclid Cafe. Police say the disturbance spilled onto Mayfield Road, briefly blocking traffic at the Mayfield/South Green Road intersection.

Additional officers were called to the scene, including mutual aid from Lyndhurst Police Department. When they arrived, those fighting, along with a large number of onlookers scattered.

Several ran into a nearby Giant Eagle, said police, where they continued to fight inside the store nearly striking several customers. After running out of the store, three suspects were found in a nearby parking lot and arrested for disorderly conduct.

A fourth juvenile was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business when he tried to disrupt an officer’s arrest of one of the previous suspects.

All four juveniles were taken to jail.
