PARMA – Assumption College School traveled all the way from Ontario Canada to play St. Ignatius Saturday, but the Wildcats were not very hospitable at their home away from home, Byers Field.

Quarterback Dennis Grosel threw two touchdown passes before leaving with an apparent arm injury in the second quarter, but #5. St. Ignatius did not miss a beat.

Running back Chavez Perez and Jack Cook scored two touchdowns each in the Wildcats’ 49-13 victory.

Senior Jacob Kucia relieved Grosel at quarterback and played well, running for one score and leading three other touchdown drives.

St. Ignatius (3-1) has won two straight since a tough loss to #3. Mentor.

The Wildcats make their longest road trip of the season next Saturday, traveling to nationally-ranked Paramus Catholic in New Jersey.
