BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — The Bay Village Police Department will present its investigation on the Ice Bucket Challenge assault to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday.

Earlier this month, a 15-year-old boy with autism thought he was taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge, but instead of cold water, he had human waste dumped on him.

Bay Village police identified five teenagers involved in the incident.

The juvenile division of the prosecutor’s office will determine if any criminal charges will be filed.

At the very least, simple assault. I would add a hate crime to boot. The level of hatred it must have taken to plan and execute this is not human. God bless this child that was put through this.
