(CNN) — The latest iPhones aren’t available in stores yet, and Apple customers are already facing lengthy delays and potential product shortages.

Pre-orders for the new phone rolled out Friday afternoon. Eager customers attempting to pre-order the phones on Apple’s online store had problems accessing the website, and some reported the iPhone 6 Plus has already sold out.

Apple has about a three- to four-week wait for the iPhone 6 Plus. The smaller iPhone 6, however, is set to ship within 10 days.

The new line of iPhones are expected in stores Sept. 19.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Tuesday, as well as a new mobile payments platform called ApplePay.

“Today, we are launching the biggest advancement in the history of iPhone,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said at an event in Cupertino, Calif. “They are without a doubt the best iPhones we’ve ever done.”
