SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police are asking for help finding the suspect in an armed robbery at a Shaker Heights bank.
According to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, it happened at about 10:14 a.m. Saturday.
A gloved and masked man entered Huntington Bank, 20601 Fairmont Blvd., brandished a silver pistol and demanded money from the teller.
At one point, he pointed the pistol at the teller and told them to hurry up with the money.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his 40s. He was about 5’9″ tall with a medium build and a deep voice.
He was wearing a navy blue fishing hat, a navy blue jacket with white trim on his collar and sleeves and a brown cover over his mouth and nose. He also was wearing light sky blue nylon workout pants with a white stripe down the legs.
Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery should contact Shaker Heights Police Department or the Cleveland Division of the FBI. Tips can remain anonymous, and reward money is available for information leading to the successful ID and prosecution of the person responsible.
