More reasons you should respect your server

The server’s role may be to wait on you, but a new study showed he may have the upper-hand in the situation.

Two researchers from the University of Houston and Baylor University determined what some servers are really doing when you’re not looking.

According to Aol citing the study, six percent of wait staff said they’ve spit in or otherwise contaminated food.

Seventy-nine percent made fun of customers to someone else and 65 percent made customers wait longer than necessary.

When it comes to the tip, 19 percent confronted guests about the gratuity and 11 percent have increased the tip without the customer’s permission.
