CLEVELAND, Ohio -- After months of planning and preparation, the day finally arrived Sunday!

Fox 8 once again asked for our viewers' support, and thousands of Northeast Ohioans stepped up to the plate, turning out for the second annual Fox 8 Fox Trot at Voinovich Park in Cleveland.

In all, over 6,500 participated in the event. This year's race benefits the Wounded Warrior Project.

"Northeast Ohio always answers the call," said Fox 8's Doug Herrmann, race organizer. "Never, ever did we imagine such a turn-out; 6,500 runners, and now we will probably be able to write a check out to $100,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project."

The FOX 8 FOX Trot is presented by your Northern Ohio Honda Dealers.
