FREMONT, Calif. — A health education textbook is causing some outrage in one California school district.

The book is called “Your Health Today,” and is the district’s ninth grade sex-ed textbook, according to SF Gate.

Parents are claiming the book and images in it are too explicit and that it resembles porn. The book mentions topics like masturbation, descriptions of sexual positions and even dating websites.

The district, however, says the book is “up-to-date.”

Nearly 600 people have signed a petition asking the district to get rid of the book.
