FBI searching for suspect in CLE bank robbery

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Authorities are searching for the suspect in the robbery of a Cleveland bank.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, it happened at about 4 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Bank, 2132 Brookpark Road.

A white male wearing a tan shirt and a white baseball cap with the letter “A” on it entered the bank and demanded money. He claimed to have a firearm, but no weapon was displayed.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man exited the bank and ran to CVS across the street. He met with another unknown man while in CVS.

The suspect is described as being about 6′ tall, with a thin build, blue eyes and light brown/blond hair. He had multiple tattoos, including a possible tear drop below one eye.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department at 216-623-5100 or the Cleveland FBI office at 216-522-1400.
