AKRON- Frightening moments for a 10-year-old girl after two masked gunmen stormed into an Akron pizza shop last Friday night and robbed it.

Akron police say the little girl hid under a counter during the ordeal.

"They kicked out the rock that was holding the door open and they closed the door, locked it, and said give me all your money.  They had guns with them," said the girl, who FOX 8 is not identifying.

It happened around 10:00 Friday night at Talamo's Pizza on Kenmore Boulevard.

"We went in and ordered a few mediums.  Before you know it, it was get down on the ground," said the girl's father, who FOX 8 is not identifying because police are still looking for the gunmen.

The girl says her father covered her up and then she hid out of sight.

"I was under the counter.  I was terrified. I was scared to death," said the girl.

Police say the suspects couldn't break the cash register, so they robbed the people inside instead.

The girl hid under the counter until the robbery was over.

"I commend them.  They stayed calm.  They did as the gunman told them to do.  They gave them the cash, wallets, and cell phones like they told them to do and no one was hurt as a result," said Captain Dan Zampelli, with the Akron Police Department.

No one was hurt in any of this.  The gunmen were last seen on Kenmore Boulevard.
