A real thrill! Cedar Point looking for fun people to work at HalloWeekends

SANDUSKY, Ohio — If you’re fun and enthusiastic, Cedar Point says it has a job just for you.

The amusement park announced on Tuesday it’s looking for hundreds of people of all ages who want to work this fall for the park’s 18th annual HalloWeekends event.

Three hundred people will be hired to work as Screamsters and will be transformed into witches, zombies and other monsters who will scare guests who head into the park’s haunted houses and outdoor fright zones.

Cedar Point said other jobs are available, including positions in park operations, food services, accommodations, games, merchandise and more.

The park also said it will be providing bus transportation to and from Bowling Green State University, Oberlin College, Kent State and the University of Toledo for students who want to work at the park this fall.

Free weekend housing is available to those who qualify.

Interviews will be held each Sunday in August from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at Cedar Point’s Castaway Bay indoor waterpark, 2001 Cleveland Road, Sandusky.
