My Town: Golf outing to help victims of human trafficking

SEVILLE, Ohio — The Lioness Foundation is hosting a four-person golf scramble to raise money for women rescued out of human trafficking.

The event takes place Saturday, September 6 at Deer Pass Golf Course, located at 5886 Greenwich Rd. in Seville.

The event schedule is as follows:

— 12:30 p.m. – Registration ~ Lunch ~ Putting Contest
— 2 p.m. – 18 Holes & Cart ~ Proximities ~ Skins
— 7:30 p.m. – Steak Dinner ~ Awards ~ Silent Auction

The cost is $65 dollars per golfer if paid by August 29 or $75 dollars after August 29.

Dinner only guests pay $25 dollars by August 29 or $75 dollars after August 29.

It’s through donations and fundraisers like this one that the The Lioness Foundation is able to transform women’s lives.
