CLEVELAND — We want to send kids across Cuyahoga County back to school prepared.
This morning, we kicked off our 8th annual ‘Stuff The Bus’ campaign.
Once again we have partnered up with the Cleveland Kids In Need Resource Center which provides teachers from area schools that qualify for help, the opportunity to shop for free to get school supplies for their students.
Thanks to your wonderful support, the program has been able to grow each year and now all of Cuyahoga County schools that qualify can participate.
We will be collecting the school supplies until 7p today right in our front yard here at FOX 8, 5800 Dick Goddard Way.
So far, we have stuffed five buses out front of the FOX 8 studios.
Here is a list of school supplies that are needed:
- We really need crayons this year; 24-count box of crayons preferred
- Wide or College rule filler paper or notebooks
- 2 pocket folders
- Number 2 pencils
- Construction paper
- 8 1/2 by 11 copy paper
- Colored markers and pencils
- Black and Blue pens
- Boxes of tissue
- Anti-bacterial soap or wipes.
We can also take back packs, or school bags, art supplies, anything and everything school supply related. To our area businesses that may have old letterhead or things with old logos– teachers can use it, so bring it down.
The FOX 8 Stuff the Bus is sponsored by Great Clips and Hudec Dental.
