Sailor from Parma dies supporting Operation Enduring Freedom

The Department of Defense announced on Monday that a sailor from Northeast Ohio died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

The DOD said Yeshabel Villotcarrasco, 23, of Parma, died on June 19 aboard USS James E. Williams while the ship was in the Red Sea.

Villotcarrasco, who died in a non-hostile incident, was a Boatswain’s Mate.
