Wicked weather leads to rescue of kayakers and trees ripped down

GATES MILLS, Ohio -- Several people were rescued from the Chagrin River on Monday.

Authorities say in one instance, two people-- an adult and a juvenile-- were rescued after their kayak overturned. They were able to grab onto a log and that's where they were pulled to safety.

Other kayakers were rescued further up the river; at least four kayaks were pulled out of the river.

The water was too rough to be in, especially for kayaking, according to authorities.

Meanwhile, the windy weather brought down trees, including one that smashed into a garage in Bay Village. No one was injured. Check out the amazing photos below.
