Water main break causes flooding at Quay 55 Apartments

CLEVELAND -- Quay 55 Apartments on North Marginal Road in Cleveland is dealing with flooding following a 12-inch water main break that happened outside the property, Thursday night, according to the Cleveland Water Department.

The water main break happened next door to the building and caused flooding in the parking lot and in the lobby.

Water in the lobby started to recede just after 1 a.m.

The Cleveland Water Department told FOX 8 that crews are working to repair the break, which could take anywhere from 6-8 hours or longer.

The water will be turned off as they make repairs; they will try to have it turned on by Friday morning.

A cause is not known.

Quay 55 Management notified residents of the water main break through phone calls and email.
