SANDUSKY, Ohio -- A man awaiting sentencing in the murder of a 3-year-old boy had his nose broken in jail Friday in a fight over LeBron James.

According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, inmates Bryce Stokes, 19, and Michael Milner, 25, it happened Friday around 5:30 p.m. at the Erie County Jail. That was just a few hours after James made his announcement that he was re-signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Milner pleaded guilty in the 2012 murder of Owen Barker, 3. Stokes was recently indicted on rape charges.

According to authorities, the argument happened in the indoor recreation area of the jail. Jail video footage shows both men playing basketball before getting into an argument. Milner was then shown chasing Stokes around the court.

Stokes then punched Milner in the face knocking him down, according to reports. Milner got back up and continued walking aggressively toward Stokes. The fight was broken up.

After the incident, Stokes told authorities that he and Milner had gotten into a fight in their pod over LeBron James. Stokes admitted to punching Milner first, after saying Milner was instigating him.

Reports state that Milner suffered a nasal fracture and needed a follow-up appointment for reconstructive surgery.

The incident is still under investigation.

Milner is set for sentencing on his aggravated murder charge on Aug. 7.
