KIRTLAND, Ohio — The Lake Humane Society is celebrating the return of one of the largest fundraisers for homeless animals.

The 20th Annual Mutt Strut will be held Saturday, August 23, at Penitentiary Glen in Kirtland.

Registration for the annual pledge walk opens at 8:30 a.m. and the 1-Mile Walk begins at 10:30 a.m. In celebration of its 20th year, all admission fees for this year’s Mutt Strut have been waived.

This year’s Mutt Strut will include live entertainment, demonstrations, games, activities for families and pets, auctions, raffles, shopping in the Mutt Mall, a fashion show featuring adoptable shelter dogs and more.
