CLEVELAND, Ohio — A group of Cleveland police officers formally charged in the November 2012 double fatal police shooting appeared in court for a pretrial Friday.

Officer Michael Brelo faces two manslaughter charges, and Randolph Daley, Michael Donegan, Patricia Coleman, Jason Edens and Paul Wilson face dereliction of duty charges in the case.

They all pleaded not guilty to their charges earlier this month.

The chase took place November 29, 2012, after an officer at the Justice Center thought someone in the suspects’ car fired a shot at him.

The chase ended in East Cleveland, when 13 officers fired 137 shots, killing the two suspects, Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams. The suspects were unarmed.
