A Kickstarter campaign launched this week introduces “remote controlled humans.”

Zabosu describes itself as a service that allows a one person to “control” another.

A “director” sits at a computer while a paid “actor” performs a task.

The actor has an earpiece to receive instructions from the director and uses a cell phone to stream video and audio back to the director.

According to its Kickstarter page, Zabosu could be useful when scouting office spaces or wedding venues.  Multiple actors could be hired, allowing the director to see several places at once.

The service also connects directors to potential actors based on location, availability and skills and archives videos so they can be viewed at a later time.
