Arrests made in Parma bar attack that injured customers

PARMA — Three men were arrested in connection with a robbery at a Parma bar.

Two customers were hurt in the robbery that happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday night at Number One Lounge on Ridge Road, police said.

Both customers were hit in the head. One victim was taken to University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. The other victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. Police said both were treated for their injuries and released.

Police said “multiple suspects” were involved in the attacks. As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made.

Police expected to release more information later Friday morning.

This is the second attack at a bar in Parma this week. Two customers were hurt when a masked man entered Piffels Pub on Ridge Road Wednesday morning. One person was shot, another was hit in the head.

The bars are just a block away from each other.

Police would not say if the two incidents were related.
