AVON, Ohio — Many of the attendees at the Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival Saturday can now say they helped break a world record.

The festival is an annual Father’s Day celebration of all things duct tape.

And a total of 340 people participated in a fashion show, wearing everything from shirts and skirts to accessories and more made of duct tape.

To qualify, each participant had to wear at least one article of clothing and one accessory made of the sticky stuff.

All of the hard work resulted in a world record for the most people modeling in a duct tape fashion show.

The festival will continue Sunday for Father’s Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
