AKRON, Ohio — An arrest has been made after an 18-year-old male was shot to death in Akron Wednesday night.

According to police, it happened at 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Cole Avenue.

Donald D. Carter Jr., 18, was found on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Akron General Medical Center where he later died.

Detectives identified a suspect in the case, and Nathaneal Carter Jr., 33, turned himself in to detectives late Wednesday night.

He now faces a charge of aggravated murder and is being held in Summit County Jail.

Police say the shooting appears to stem from an ongoing feud between the two men.
