TWINSBURG, Ohio– Summit County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who entered a Twinsburg Speedway gas station carrying a knife.

They are hoping clear surveillance images will generate tips.

Authorities said he went to the counter of the gas station on Sunday evening, pulled out a large knife and demanded money.

But when another store employee walked out of a back room, the suspect took off.

Investigators think he might be responsible for a robbery in Kent on the very same day.

Inspector Bill Holland of the Summit County Sheriff’s Department said, “If anybody views the video and recognizes this person, he was wearing blue gloves at the time. If you recognize him, please contact us and let us know so we can try to identify the suspect, apprehend him and take him off the streets.”

There might be an award for information that leads to the suspect.
