OBERLIN, Ohio-- There's a new family-fun attraction in Oberlin. It's called the Common Ground canopy tours.

It will have you zip lining through the Vermilion River Valley.

"It's a great adventure in the sky," said Ray Cromwell of Elyria.

"As you are in the tree tops, the river winds below you. It's a really unique perspective of the natural environment," said Rick Grahovac, executive director of Common Ground.

The canopy tour consists of seven different zip lines which takes you over 30 acres of property.

There are also tree platforms and aerial bridges to cross.

The longest zip line is 850 ft. long and it's the last one on the tour then you repel down to the ground.

The common ground canopy tour takes about three hours to complete and for the entire time you are up in the trees.

"It was really cool. It was a totally different perspective looking up at the treetops and only seeing green all around with the river underneath. It was amazing," said Allison Boersma from Chicago.
