CLEVELAND–Cleveland police are investigating an officer-involved shooting.

Around 12:30, Monday afternoon, police said they responded to reports of a shooting involving two males on Fleet Ave.

They said the suspect was spotted on a bike. He dropped the bike and they began chasing him into a backyard.

Police said the suspect had a gun and was told to drop it. According to Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams, the suspect wouldn’t drop the gun and that’s when a command officer shot him.
