MUST SEE: Lab Test Dogs Freed, See Sky & Grass for First Time

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — They were used for testing in research labs, kept in cages their entire lives.

But last week, nine Beagles — called the “Lucky 9” — were rescued from a lab in Nevada by what’s called the Beagle Freedom Project.

Their lab numbers were removed, and they were given real names.

Then, they were introduced to the sun, fresh air — even grass — for the very first time, according to the project’s website.
