Men Arrested After Detective Witnesses Drug Deal

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Two Northeast Ohio men were arrested Thursday for their involvement in allegedly trafficking narcotics.

Tenard Davis, 22, of Euclid, and Seth Burhenne, 31, of Willoughby, both face charges in the case.

According to Willoughby police, the incident happened at about 9:30 a.m.

An undercover detective was conducting surveillance on suspected drug activity in the Barber Field/Euclid Avenue area when they observed a narcotics transaction between the two men.

The detective followed Davis, making a traffic stop, and other police units also responded. Police said they found drugs on Davis, along with a large amount of cash in his vehicle.

They located Burhenne, who had both heroin and drug abuse instruments on him.

Davis faces charges of tampering with evidence, trafficking in narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of criminal tools in the case.

Burhenne charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug abuse instruments.
