CLEVELAND -- Today is "Peace Officer's Memorial Day" in Cleveland and across the country.

President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation in 1962 making May 15th "Peace Officer's Memorial Day" and the week in which the date falls as "Police Week."

"Police Week" serves as a time to pay tribute to peace officers who have died in the line of duty.
