The number of people who carry cash in their wallet is on the decline.

Nearly eight in ten Americans have less than $50 with them on any average day, according to bankrate.com.

Researchers found half of Americans carry less than $20, and around 10% don’t carry any cash at all.

Turns out guys are more likely to have cash on them than women. 30% of men carry more than $50 compared to just 14% of women.
